Email recovery in web and PC based email clients
Email recovery is perhaps one of the most misunderstood areas of file and information recovery. To begin with, most people assume that recovering deleted emails is utterly impossible. They base this assumption on the idea that an email from a web based email service is lost deep into cyberspace whenever it is deleted. Generally in the case of web-based email this is true.
But most business email is not web based and all of the larger web based email servers initially place deleted mail into a temporary storage folder. This is much like the Windows recycle bin. When a web-based email is deleted it usually sits in the trash bin for a period of 48 hours. This allows you to change your mind and restore the message. Non-web based email such as Outlook email is stored on your computer. To recover these messages all you need is a quality third party file recovery tool.
